  head buss.

  love the dichotomy between the two practiced cultures of the people and how it played into their actions/mindsets.

  the pace of the movie is calming and expressive. there is time to understand what the director is saying.

  it's interesting how much of the foreign culture the westernized people take on, and how it warps their relationship to each other and the traditional people. theres this impression of a value system switch that is solely based on the people…

  for just 10 cents a day you and the white messiah can provide these poor black people with clean drinking water.

  a lot of build up, in marketing etc. but not a very expansive exploration of another world. the second movie (dune 2) was more explorative though.
