Beautiful cinematography, lovely soundtrack, standout acting by Iura and Robles, and a well grounded multicultural story. Ayako Fujitani did amazing work all over. Characters and interactions came to life, spotlighting the humanity behind every interaction, every transaction. You don't need to speak the same language to feel the same joy, devastation, delight, loss from our modern capitalistic society. Subtitling choices elevated the film. Plus beautiful shots of cows and horses. What more you ask for.
