Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, The Movie 2023
A terrible fan fiction
Wasted potential. This movie had so many chances to deliver a fun and compelling origin story, and for the first half it really feels like it’s heading in that direction. The animation is noticeably better and the action sequences are more dynamic, giving the film a strong start. But ultimately, it strays from what makes the Miraculous Ladybug franchise special, betraying its core principles and clashing with the heart of the show.
