  Honestly, I really enjoyed Mystic River. It’s a slow burn and it took me a while to get into the film, but beyond the first 25/30 minutes I was completely gripped. 

  The movie is well paced, with a mix of visually impactful scenes and intense emotional conflict. The characters are strong, well written and continually developed throughout the movie. Most of the characters are morally grey, leaving little room for a decided protagonist/ antagonist which adds depth to the film.…
