I originally rated this film way too high because I had no baseline to follow, but I’m fixing that now. did not watch re-watch, not planning to either. tbh I don’t even remember what this was about, but I know it’s nowhere near the ones I’ve actually rated this score (3/5??? 😭😭) before, nor anything I’d rate the same in the future. it gets one and a half star, benefit of the doubt.

literally had to pause a couple times just to laugh after being caught off guard by some of the ridiculous scenes in this movie
I think this is a really interesting and powerful movie! It educated me more on the difference of caste and racism; about the concept of caste, as well as its historical context, including history of some discriminatory social hierarchies around the world. I watched it with my dad and it was emotional, very interesting and thought provoking. :)
