Throw Down 2004
Took me a long time to realize the genius behind Throw Down despite it being quite the simple film. Its all about the stragglers getting the fuck up and redeeming themselves for once. Never for the gold, but for glory. It does it the best with the tight framing, expected To humor, awesome soundtrack and characters you want to see succeed. This movie was made for me.

A fentanyl laced trip to the head! It’s even better on a rewatch…with friends! I appreciate it all the handheld angles and insane breakdowns. Even though there is some parts that do need to be trimmed down, it’s nearly perfect and impossible to replicate something so gritty and simple. Definitely one of my favorites.
