Suspiria 2018
Horror is often a hit or miss for me, and this shit hit. Hard. (Thom Yorke's additional to the mix was not welcome). It was chaotic, oddly comforting in its femininity, and just...Weird. The underlying plot of Imperialism just added another depth to the movie, and God Tilda Swinton's performance was breakthaking. Playing three different characters with such talent was really refreshing to watch, and it just made me stare into a wall for a good hour. The original is always a fun watch, a classic, but as far as remakes goes, this one was as good as I wanted it to be.
