Didn’t expect this movie to be the way I imagined it, still turned out to be great. Genuinely laughed my ass off the whole time. Love these anti capitalist messages in Bong movies. He delivered again, but differently. Had to let it sink for a minute though, because I can imagine that it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. However, I loved it.
Oh and Robert Pattinson better get his Oscar nomination now!
Astonishing cinematography. Loved the black and white scenes. Very mediocre writing though, it was also not that compelling. I guess the tempo wasn’t my cup of tea. If you ask me right now what I know about Leonard Bernstein’s greatness or love life then I simply can’t give you a good answer. It’s a film that heavily relies on their great cinematography and wonderful acting. You can tell their goal was to get at least an Oscar nomination for Bradley Cooper out of this, but with that said; congratulations to Cillian Murphy ;)
Technically a great movie but it’s mainly a startling allegory for how the Zionist movement claimed control of the memory of the Holocaust. Fuck all of that. Free Palestine and shout out to Guy Pearce
