Wagner Moura is responsible for 2.5 of the 3.5 stars I gave this movie, love him!!
Overall it’s a pretty nice film, considering it’s a political “statement” made by Hollywood. Uh so I don’t understand this. This movie neither properly criticizes nor worships Napoleon. It’s also not an accurate historical representation of the events it portrays. Additionally, it doesn’t really give any origin story or show us any new/interesting perspective on the whole situation either. Can someone please explain to me what the purpose of this painfully long film was???
