I enjoyed it but a part of me wishes maybe an alternate ending would have been better ... ie the one where Debu doesn’t return? huge white saviour trope (even though they obviously tried to avoid this by making the lead british-indian)
very predictable, cheesy and a cliche. It doesn’t really leave a huge impact until the very end - the credits - where its revealed that the skate park was actually built for the community so that definitely lessened the exploitative feeling. Good theme, but execution and story was very simple with little surprise element.
