  All story and no plot. Not even a movie basically just a montage. Encapsulates the douchiest era of this century and occasionally makes you think about the american dream. Has disney stars, guns, gucci mane, boobs, and skrillex songs. Yeah, this movie rips.

  Missed opportunity to play green days seminal album cut “give me novocaine”, the twist can be seen from a mile away, the entire movie is in the trailer, but other than these qualms enjoyed it.

  This movie deserves more praise, it was clearly overshadowed by project x and all those other over the top teen party movies. I’ve never seen something so accurately depict such a specific time in the male upbringing. Old enough to drink beer and grow a shitty beard, young enough to play with swords and hang out in the woods.

  A dense portrait of a complicated man who was ultimately just a pawn in an immensely complicated geopolitical system. Easily nolan’s most ambitious film, not his best imo, but going for something so much different than everything else he has made. No neat tricks or novel gags being pulled off, just a straight up examination of how ego drove the biggest ethical dilemma in human history. Huge fan of the flash forwards in black and white, huge fan of the boobies, and huge fan of the outfits, sound, score, Safdie, and Cillian of course. Dudes rock.
