y’know, as much as it does get memed into oblivion, i can see how this is lynchs most spiritual film. supposedly he opened a bible and found inspiration, and theres a lot of similarities to the jesus parable here, albeit from the perspective of joseph. as with any lynch piece, thats just one interpretation of thousands. maybe thatll stick with me, maybe not.
