After some rewatches, I can understand Even more why I love this film.
The slow build up for the delusion, the low and upper shots, the small details like hiding Me-Mania in some shots, the constant mannerism of Rumi, and especially, Mima's psyche. There is one specific frame during that glorious climax were Mima, after all she went, after all the madness, she recognizes her reflection; that moment of grounding gave Mima the strength she needed, the moment of clarity…
