X-Men: Days of Future Past 2014
Not the most comic book accurate superhero movie, but it is probably the best superhero movie. Honestly, it probably would not have been as good if they followed the actual story.
This movie goes to show that you don't need cool looking CG fights in order for a movie to be good. I like that Wolverine was pretty much useless throughout the movie.

Wolf Man 2025
I like to believe every story/movie should have some kind of lesson, moral of the story, theme, etc. I guess the moral of the story to this movie is in order to break generational trauma, you need to kill your father.
Starts off pretty interesting but gets boring as it goes on. A little too modernized for a Wolfman story. The choice of design could have been better, maybe it was a budget issue. I think what makes the movie boring the most is the fact that most things happen off screen.

Starship Troopers 1997
Probably the best sci fi movie of all time. The storytelling is top tier. Lots of attention to detail in the production design. The fact that this movie still holds up despite it's dated CGI really says something. Avatar has nothing on this.
