  Not going to add a star rating because I really don't know how I feel about this. It's going to be on my mind for a WHILE, I think. The cinematography was so beautiful, the soundtrack/sound mixing perfect, and I LOVE a slow burn. For some reason I was just on the edge of my seat the whole time, and some scenes scared me in a way I can't remember a film ever doing before (when Albrun's mother begins sniffing…

  This was a beautiful film about women being friends. It was goopy, it was gross. No notes, except Connie and Trixie should have scissored.

  That bastard bee at the start wishes he was Tom Bombadil. For him I removed half a star but otherwise this film is perfect to me. Beautiful nostalgic animation. Oddly, really love how imperfect the singing is. It feels sweet and authentic.

  Every time I watch this film I think, my memory is exaggerating. It's not that gross. And then I watch it, and it IS that gross, and it's great. Films these days need to be grosser.
