  I’m surprised by how I didn’t like this. Maybe it’s because I’m Chinese, and familiar with the concept of In-Yun (as yuanfen in Mandarin). The concept of past lives is central to lots of Chinese and East Asian romance, so I was unimpressed by how it was this film’s central conceit.
