It’s unfortunate this film got robbed off of the attention it needed and deserves. Gripping, emotional, uncomfortable & moving!

Captain America: Brave New World 2025
Genuinely enjoyed this film. I’m baffled at how much the “critic” community seems to hate it. It’s a solid 7/7.5 out of 10 film with really good cinematography, a relatively strong script and solid performances by Harrison Ford and Anthony Mackie among others.
Compared to a lot of the recent superhero slop, this definitely isn’t a 2.7 kind of movie. While not The Batman, the thrills and a pretty intriguing plot make this a relatively interesting watch for comic book lovers.

I thought my first Letterboxd review would be for Gran Turismo, but I had a chance to watch this once again at The Rio Theatre in Vancouver restored in 4K and it was profound. If I’ve ever watched a 10/10 movie, this must be it.
“When you laugh the world laughs with you. When you weep you weep alone.” There are no words to describe this film. Watch it, or don’t. But the moment you experience this film you were never see movies, or people, the same.

Gran Turismo 2023
Better than I expected. Happy with how the story stayed focused the entire film. Some scenes felt a little too cheesy, but for the most part it wasn’t a bad offering. If I was to be honest, it was one of the better video game adaptions as far as cinema goes. I do have some nitpicks since I am a car person, but the cinematography definitely wasn’t one of them! Good job Jacques Jouffret and team!
