Tarantino's masterpiece. Probably the most perfect thing that bastard managed to direct. Everything can be spoiled if you start analyzing every single scene (i.e. how the french underground bar scene was introduced). Also perfect Christopher Waltz's performance. Everyone should watch this movie at least once before realizing Tarantino's a sionist. Soundtrack (as always) so good I wanna scream in the darkness as my final message before dying after a messy shootout.

Forrest Gump is a movie about the archetypical "idiot savant" that rushes from accomplishment to accomplishment through sheer luck. It reveals Hollywood's outlook of the audiance, whom should relate and empathize with the titular protagonist as a "happy go lucky" guy. It offers a view of the american dream that opposes reality. Complicated political situations are looked upon with a simplistic look, ridiculing the Black Panthers movement and the Vietnam war. And yet, I can't help but feel nostalgia when rewatching this movie's problematic representation of Gump.

The movie was hyped for a long time thanks to the brilliant marketing and the use of ARGs. I was expecting an anxious, occult and intriguing investigation. I was not disappointed when I found out who Longlegs was as Nicholas Cages' performance was outstanding. I heard criticism regarding how ridiculous the serial killer looked but I found it a brilliant "fuck you" to the expectations of the audiance. The final plot twist revealed a world of horror that cynical (and clinical) investigation wouldn't be able to unravel.
It kept us waiting, but it was pretty good, huh.

Even though it is not scientifically accurate, it still is the best Nolan movie.
The moving story of a father and a daughter destined to be far apart by space (and time). The soundtrack is something to be proud of but, perhaps, too dramatic and epic for my taste. Matthew McConaughey was probably the best choice to portray the heartbreaking space-odissey-like adventure. Truly one of the movies of all time. All time.
