  I liked the creature design a lot but other than that this felt like it would work more as a Futurama episode than a movie. Also the main character's aw shucks manner really annoyed me like again it felt too cartoonish.

  A horror movie about looking the other way. Incredible and harrowing sound design and cinematography; we see an ordinary home but every shot feels uncanny and weighed down with a huge and unbearable reality just out of frame. And massive respect to Jonathan Glazer for publicly drawing the obvious comparison to Gaza.

  Fairly well-crafted 90s thriller, though the exposition in the end did feel forced. It was kind of giving Rosemary's Baby, but with a control freak Catholic Jessica Lange instead of Satanists.
  Edit: I can't believe Gwyneth just smiled and nodded when that old lady was feeding drugs to the ducks.
