  can you imagine waiting for a chance to see it on big screen for 2 months, because you've been moving around too much, and then sitting alone at AMC at 10pm, just you and the ladies on screen

  I enjoyed every single cinematic tribute, and I admire Fargeat's creativity, but up until the 3d act it felt like the movie has been explaining itself too much in order to deliver the message

  but towards the end it stops explaining, and the show begins, and it makes you feel rather than think

  and right after that, I savored every second of it

  you can't even dream a whole dream, can you?

  since we're approaching the end of december, there's some certain calender-related business going around. since I could barely imagine myself rewatching any of the christmas classics (absence of company, lack of believe in the holiday spirit, lack of snow, mixed feelings — you name it — not a great spot for a 'love actually' to squeeze in)

  but my stakes on this one to be the one I needed this winter were…
