Very tense and captivating with an incredibly unsatisfying ending. Also...I couldn't get past Holt and Colette and their history in about a boy, but that's on me. Genuinely good movie and exploration of what justice really means, great supporting cast, if a little underutilised, but as I say...double flusher of an ending.

A Real Pain 2024
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
A truly raw and affecting portrait of a very specific kind of relationship and circumstance. Kieran Culkin is astoundingly real and Eisenberg plays his usual neuroses as expected but this fits into his second directorial effort perfectly. A tight near-90 minutes is all that's needed to tell such a tight and well crafter story. Incredible piece of cinema.

Inside Out 2 2024
Incredibly late to the party on this one but so worth the wait. Wicked 2024
I was ready for this to have no chance of matching it's hype but I'm thrilled to say I was delighted. I bought into the well worn (for me) story and those performing it so easily and really fell into the world built up on screen. My only issue with it is waiting a year for what I could wait 20 minutes for in a theatre. A full year between parts makes no sense. This was not a perfect film, but it was everything it could have been and I loved it.
