  Most Akerman films I've seen showcased some of the best framing ever, especially of walls, doors, furniture (and when necessary, a body, or two). This sure was no exception. I'm always so impressed, and left completely mystified, by how her films with a similar style (static camera, relatively intimate camera positions (but no close up), minimalist staging) can convey very different feelings. In that sense comparing this to Toute une nuit is fascinating. But right now, anyway, I'm mostly thinking…
