i can’t praise this movie kenough. i had no idea this was the direction barbie would go but i’m so happy that it did. greta gerwig always does a phenomenal job portraying the hardships of womanhood, especially motherhood (ladybird), and i cant appreciate enough how she demonstrated the harms of the patriarchy for both women and men.
