Muriel's Wedding 1994
One of my new personal favorite movies. I think what makes it so special is that all the characters are pretty credible especially if you've ever met someone like some of the shitty characters introduced, have ever felt the way Muriel did, or ever had someone come into your life that made you start believing in yourself like Rhonda's character did for Muriel.
I laughed and I cried. There were parts that were so batshit and out there yet somehow…

Dune: Part Two 2024
Had no idea what to expect going into this movie. It was long, but not drawn out. Every minute earned its way in to unfold the story. It was quite breathtaking of a picture and such an epic ride.

Unfair to judge this movie because you were expecting it to explore certain topics. For what it was, I thought it was well made. The relationship between Jessie and Lee was interesting. Lee had changed trying to get to the WH and found it all a little meaningless as capturing the pictures didn't change anything as she had hoped...not to mention losing your humanity in the process. I'm sure Jessie will realize the same one day. It was poetic and straight to the point. Film was well-paced, had gorgeous cinemotagrahy, great acting, and made you chew on a few things for thought.
