Nosferatu 2024
Fav Eggers yet! This is perhaps his most commercial film yet. Sex, blood, dreams, gothic castles, and lots of rats. This film was born to run.
The performances are great and the terror is palpable. The story works well and the atmosphere is chilling. There's tasty film references littered throughout the film, from Possession to Diabeł to The Phantom Carriage. And those slow camera pans just heighten the tension so much. It's a good time. Go watch!
