  watched this while high, really trippy feel to the film with all the american dream, white picket fence imagery. felt like the start of an indie horror game. i don’t know if it was glorifying sexual violence, cus the scenes certainly evoked a distressing, deeply disturbing feeling. more like forcing us to confront it, it was very unsettling - a rewatch is likely pending
