Vivarium 2019
Some interesting/entertaining moments surrounded by less then. And those interesting/entertaining moments only were that way because they felt like they’d lead to something. The ending did not end up being great. But also wasn’t a cop out. The ending just turned out not to be as interesting as I thought it would be, while at the same time being exactly what I thought it would be.
Poots did great.
Eisenbergs role felt like a boring caricature.
Loved the kid, but that voice was weird.

Idk how to describe it, I am happy when I watch this movie.
You know that feeling you get as a kid when you open a present and you like it more just because it is brightly colored and a unique shape? That’s how this movie makes me feel. It reminds me of the days where I’d spend hours looking at the Black Friday magazines at pictures of spiderman or transformers action figures instead of the printers and vacuums I look at now.
