  Someone please tell filmmakers that threats do not need to be omnipresent to be interesting. Literally every scene had the monster in it, is that really necessary to develop suspense? This definitely did not need to be nearly as long as it was, as it would be much more enjoyable at 45 minutes. I do appreciate the main character’s realness with her quest though.
