The Substance 2024
Very nicely designed movie - especially the editing around the corporation part.
The story is interesting enough, though it finally falls short and ends exactly the way you'd think from the very beginning of the movie.
The gorey parts are also well-crafted, yet they don't truly deliver anything exceptionally original.

Very nice and unique, despite its humble execution: you can feel the sense of warmth of 70s tv late shows and experience a short and small horror story that feels like a well-packed small present.
Dastalmachian finally delivers his first important role and perfectly fits the situation.P.s.: didn't really like the AI involvement, if you can conjure up something so unique and aesthetically pleasing just go all in and do it yourself completely.
