  Leonardo DiCaprio plays a high school boy who has high potential in basketball. He enjoys journaling his thoughts in his diary. Like most teenage boys especially from the poor part of town they live in, him and his friends get introduced to drugs. A once every Saturday type of thing quickly escalates to an everyday, all the time type of occurrence. The dreams, relationships and potential he once had all slowly fade out of his life.

  Wow.

  First off, Shia LaBeouf nails his role like always. The screen writing in this film is simple which makes the movie even that more amazing. The plot is so heart warming.

  A man with down syndrome runs away from a residential nursing home to pursue his dream of becoming a wrestler. He runs into an outlaw which just so happens to turn into his best friend.

  Another great film by Spike Lee. 

  Spike Lee has a such a unique and creative way of directing that is so much different than others. Loved the soundtrack in this film. Spike always seems to make the most authentic films.
