I think this movie has the opportunity to grow on me.
I really loved how Sean Baker strayed away from the Russian mob trope which I thought was the direction this was going instead it was a refreshing high intensity love story that actually had me laughing throughout the movie. I loved the lead character Anora as she struggled to find her self worth in this movie. Always a fan of how his movies they feel so real and the stories are so unique.
Can’t wait for his next one.

This movie had me thrown through a loop. Tied it all together in the end which I love.
The use of practical effects to push the story was done very well. Big shoutout to this production teamI need to watch it again.
