Look Back 2024
Gorgeous art. Touching story. But really, i just expected more. I wanted to watch this and acquire something profound. Instead it was just really simple. Idk, maybe thinking on it will tear up more layers or maybe i am just thinking too much. It was simply enjoyable and warm.

The Substance 2024
It baffles me every time how people still aren't bored out of their minds from yet another postmodernist "critic of society" that presents us with nothing but surface level observations. The movie gave me the sense that i have watched it a hundred times before. Some cool scenes here and there, and great acting really, but i am so sick of these seemingly deep movies repeating the same sentiments over and over again without adding anything.
