Roar 1981
I have honestly rarely felt as anxious watching a movie as I did watching Roar.
The people behind this movie were truly insane and subjected themselves to multiple maulings all in the name of art. And make no mistake, these lions and tigers were totally unpredictable and it was clear to see the fear in the actors eyes at points.

So well written, directed, and acted. I loved it!
Jack Lemmon absolutely nailed this; he's funny but also kinda sad, and it really gave his character great depth. He and Shirley MacLaine has great chemistry.
I went into this pretty blind and was surprised at the turn the story took about halfway through, but was still totally onboard.

This just had absolutely no momentum at all and dragged despite its relatively short runtime.
Sam Neil was giving it his best shot but Damien as an adult just isn't as interesting as kid Damien. He went from evil, conniving, weird little kid to...regular everyday politician? I'm exaggerating a little bit but that's what it felt like.
