  My first gold class experience! I found it very visually pretty, but I don't think this movie was worth watching for me (emphasis on for me). I don't feel like I gained any previously unknown or interesting insight into his life. It was literally just a copy paste of Walk the Line and Elvis; a story of a stuck up cheating asshole who got lucky with his music who we're kinda supposed to root for because he tested the boundaries…

  I was going through my Dad's old ripped discs and found one that simply had "Robin Hood" scrawled on with sharpie. I'm so glad I uncovered this gem! It's actually so good?? And I'm very pleasantly surprised to see that for a movie of it's time, the love interest, Maid Marian, is a fully fledged character with ideas and agency over the plot! And Robin is so ridiculously respectful of her. I was hooked from start to finish. Will definitely be watching again.

  Only watched this because I’d seen pictures of Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Vronsky in this movie on pinterest and thought he looked very pretty. Um, so I didn’t really like it. I thought the format was odd with the transitions. Not to mention, I think Anna was completely in the wrong. I don’t care how romantic swoony and pretty Vronsky is, you’re married to Jude fucking Law (Alexei) and have a kid.
