The racism in this movie was surface level but it still shows how NOVA was at the time. I’m from the same area, my school (LB), isn’t featured in the film as it wasn’t a school at the time but it was still cool to see the schools I have gone against in an extremely popular movie. Overall, this has solidified itself as my favorite American sport movie, the acting was phenomenal and the football choreograph was pretty good as well.Translated from by -
