   I don’t believe that every piece of cinema needs to be artistic, complex or even necessarily meaningful to be worthy of consumption. Many films i love are simple and mindless. But this… this was honestly insufferable. 

  Completely fell for the Aubrey Plaza bait, stumped that she accepted this role. CANNOT believe i watched a movie about a straight coming out story for a man named CHAD… just to throw in in the last 10 minutes that it’s about grieving and acceptance. STFU 😭 that shi made me wanna kih maself ngl.

  “to be a woman is to preform”. an incredibly immersive watch which portrays the duality of zoe’s struggles. beauty is currency, simply a young woman who does not want to be stripped of her desirability in motherhood. written and directed by a woman obviously.

  some of the worst spent 131 minutes of my life. this film leaves absolutely nothing to be desired. her attempt at creating any sort of suspense to the movies plot or the friendships character arc disintegrates in the fact that she spends 20 minutes giving us a glimpse into Oliver’s life before the friendship that has no hint to his “true nature” and no real relevancy to the plot as it is completely unsubstantial. considering prior to it we see…
