The first 30 minutes of the movie had me thinking the leads were assholes which made it hard to care about whether or not the boyfriend survived. That being said, the acting is phenomenal. There were a good amount of scenes that actually had me tensing up. It was disturbing enough that even as desensitized as I am to horror movies it still had scenes that got me a little.

I read a summary that said “when a woman gets a call from a serial killer her life changed” which set me up for a very different movie than I watched. The constant changes, right up to the end were absolutely wild. I loved this movie so much.
