  Les Mis (2012) ass english accents even though the movie takes place in Germany smh we've learned nothing.

  Really shallow look at a lot of societal issues but doesn't provide anything very insightful and certainly doesn't make any commentary on the systemic problems that create those societal issues. Spins its wheels for most of the runtime milking a very basic premise until the other shoe finally drops and it ends up being a really juvenile twist. All points I'm giving come from how good the animation is.

  Miyazaki saw this movie over and over when it first came out in Japanese theaters because he liked the main girl so much, and if that's not being a simp idk what is.
