Everything Everywhere All at Once 2022
I cried almost as hard as I laughed in this movie. On top of being one of the best comedies I've ever seen it's also somehow one of the best science fiction and action films I have ever seen too. Most importantly it tells a story that will hit you square in the gut by its finale and even if you have given up to a certain extent on joy and life it will more than likely lift you up in the end and show you "nothing matters" in the best way possible.

It's a fun movie and about as close we'll get to an Evil Dead-esque Dr. Strange Film and that's kind of what makes it sad too in a way though...

The Batman 2022
An almost radical and revolutionary take on Batman that unfortunately circles back around to typical studio cape shit and upholding the status quo politics of the character by the end.
THAT SAID, it's very good through 3/4 of the movie. A delightful noire-ish take on the character on the bigscreen that's waaay over due. Matt Reeves did a fantastic job with the reboot of The Planet of the Apes films not super long ago and his masterful hand on retelling…

Spider-Man: No Way Home 2021
It's fine, enjoyable, messy, popcorn nostalgia bait and nothing really more. The only people who will find this movie deep are people who pretty much watch only super hero flicks. You don't watch a movie like this cause you're looking for Shakespeare. You watch it too see multiple Spider-men bunch bad guys in the finale and on that level it succeeds.
