  such a beautiful movie visually. the cinematography is amazing. i love the structure of the film and the fact that you get to see scenes from his writings. i also love that this movie did not glorify him in anyway.

  as someone obsessed with vampires and the history of them, i’ve always wanted the horror of vampires back! modern vampires have become hot and sexy and no longer scary. i love how it’s portrayed in this movie and how nosferatu is shown as predatory and creepy. i love how this movie shows the real folklores of vampires.

  i almost wanted to rate this movie higher for the pakistani and queer representation alone but i just can’t get passed them trying to reform a literal nazi. having marginalized groups end up with their oppressor is the worst trope i could possibly think of.
