Confused mess of a film that thinks it's a lot cleverer than it actually is.
I did at least manage to watch it to the end, which earned it an extra star.
Enjoyed this quite a bit. A fun watch, although the actual 'reveal' wasn't really a shock and it felt like it was trying to set up a 'Saw' vibe without the in-your-face gore factor.
Definitely more of a thriller than a horror, and suffered from desperately wanting to be the first in a series, but worth a view even, if it'll be just the once.
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Entertaining action scenes, but wholly lacking in anything original plot-wise. Too long by at least 20 mins. [Spoiler below]
Earned an extra star for giving me the opportunity to watch a young Eddie Furlong get shot & killed, something I've long wished had happened during Terminator 2!
