  What a grand movie. It just exudes hugeness. I think it’s a longer than it needs to be. I love the idea of the obsession of doing something while ignoring the suffering and exploration of others. Ironically, sounds like what they did irl to make this LOL

  Paul Giamatti really is incredible. What a great actor, he plays upright very well and Thomas Haden Church was so funny. I guess this is apart of the Holdovers Cinematic Universe

  I was pretty disappointed with this one. It seemed interesting and fun from the trailer, plus it’s by one of the Coen bros, what could go wrong? 

  To start off the humor is VERY hit or miss. A lot of it just falls flat. Margaret Qualley is ok and I thought Geraldine Viswanathan was good (I now have a crush on her). Everyone else is fine but mostly underused as small cameos. 

  The transitions were wild, i don’t know why…

  The hype is real! I wasn’t sure how I felt in the beginning but as it progressed, it all came together for me. The story is so fun and ridiculous. The invasion scene was SO fucking funny. Mikey Madison is amazing and is a powerhouse. I also loved Yura Borisov and his quirky character. Fun yet bittersweet story.
