  I think it’s hard to do a bad version of pride and prejudice because the source material is so excellently written. I liked the characters in this, but I think it suffers compared to the 1995 BBC television adaption because there’s a lot less time to build up the relationship. The two leads play it well though and their romance is believable, and the side characters are fun to watch. It’s an easy and nice watch.
