Alphaville 1965
Alphaville is a B & W visionary tale about technological facism, that ties in heavy themes regarding the disregard of human emotion/love as a whole. This films presents itself in a light that allows the watcher to interpret it’s narrative in multiple ways, despite the common phenomena being that people don’t have a fucking clue what this movie is about, and i was the same way for the first 40 minutes.
We’re introduced to a futuristic dystopia that constantly reminds us that it’s best to always remain in the present.
