  Every frame looks like a painting, Christina’s World by Andrew Wyeth.
  The film reminds me so much of The Spirit of the Beehive

  The worst kind of betrayal, desert, decay, innocence, survival, freedom.
  I really love how australian films manage to be so innocent yet so dark
  Is this a metaphor for the loss of Indigenous culture due to colonization?
  a new australian fav of mine, along with “Wake in Fright” and “Picnic at hanging rock”. And the music fits perfectly. I hate the fact that real animals were harmed while filming.
