Aaron Taylor Johnson’s performance was pretty wooden and made whatever scene he was in annoying to watch.
I do feel like the film does struggle with the same plot beats as the original and Dracula, but does so only because of how faithful it is trying to be.
Everything else is incredible. The cinematography, acting, production, and sound design are all spectacular. My second watch and it flew by; not a moment wasted.
