  Absolutely in love. I was obsessed after the first scene. The cinematography takes the simplicity in life and enhances it into something so beautiful. The movie feels real and so do the perfectly flawed characters.

  This story is only romantic in the same way romantic literature is “romance”— it captures the calm beauty of life and love, whether it is between lovers or friends. It wasn’t just a story of a reunion but captured the essence of immigration and how that impacts multiple lives.

  I laughed, I cried, I felt like I was there, and I will still be there in a few weeks.

  it had the potential but not the execution.

  while nicole kidman, antonio banderas, and sophie wilde acted well given the weird premise, harris dickinson’s acting was subpar, awkward, and uncomfortable. I don’t know if it was the script or if that is just his style of acting but it was not in tune with the movie.
