  We came, we saw, we were left despairing.

  Surprisingly, there are some lighter & visually beautiful elements amongst the abject horrors depicted: 
  the laughing/crying hysteria of Flyora & Glasha, the dreamlike haze of the landscapes and forests, the prismatic strobing of the evening barrage, the low lying morning mist blanketing Flyora and the cow (jarringly idyllic in light of the preceding event) and so on. 

  Flyora’s facial transfiguration throughout is arresting.

  This is what I get for watching a film based solely on a good poster and a pretty lady. Lesson never learned.
