again I love this genre of movie, but this rendition felt a little hackneyed. feels like I could tell the villain’s exact motivation and plan from like minute 10.
I will say, the voice that john malkovich did the whole time was so compelling I would have joined his cult no question like I get it

I will be thinking about the sequence of events in the hotel in Atlanta for the rest of my life… not to mention the gum parallel, the churro scene, the cigarette out back, the billboard watching them in the parking lot, the whole last ten minutes of the movie. I need to watch this 50 more times
horrible premise, horrible dialogue, horrible songs (for a musical!), horrible performances. not much else to say
