Tried to watch this when I was 14 and didn’t get it and didn’t finish it. If you make it to the end you’ll understand why that’s a big problem. So much is explained in the latter acts of this film that make the entire story more cohesive (even for Lynch). After binging most David Lynch films in a kind of mourning, this film seemed essentially to understanding David Lynches idiosyncratic style.
One of the greatest 21st century films so far in my opinion but certainly not for everyone.

It’s not great but I enjoyed it.
For a director/writer to adapt a David Foster Wallace short story collection is difficult enough. For it to be their directorial debut makes it far more challenging and I don’t think Krasinski was up to the task.
It’s important to note that seemingly Krasinski goal was to adapt DFW to a different medium (which some literary purists highly disagree with).
